CUMAC has helped me get into a better place in my life. I have a much more positive outlook on everything now. I’m happier. I’m more open. I used to look forward to calling it a day, now I look forward to tomorrow, to the future.

Fighting Hunger.png
I have been working with the participants of our Pathways to Work Program and it’s the best therapy for me. The participants are dealing with the very same issues that I have dealt with such as homelessness, lack of confidence, and lack of basic knowledge of important skills such as budgeting. To pass on the knowledge, support, and love that CUMAC has given me is so rewarding.

Your Support In Action

Feeding Programs - Website.jpg

Our pantries provide groceries and other essentials to over 2,500 low income, food insecure individuals per month. Our daily distributions of produce and fresh food support an additional 1,500 people monthly. Our Depot acts as a distribution hub throughout the county receiving, organizing and distributing over 1.4 million pounds of food every year to our clients and community partners.

CUMAC’s Pathways to Work program allows individuals to develop marketable skills that will lead to gainful employment. Pathways members also receive assistance with resume writing, tutors for GED prep, as well as time and resources to aid with the job search process. This extra support has helped several community members find meaningful career opportunities & full-time positions this year.

Community Closet & Disaster Relief - Website.jpg

The Community Closet is a resource for both disaster recovery and building the self-sufficiency of neighborhood residents. Along with a thrift store, which offers community members a chance to purchase quality goods for an affordable price, CUMAC provides clothing and household items free of charge to victims of disaster. Our team provided disaster relief to over 250 individuals and families last year.
